Book Retriever Classroom Library Management Platform Sold to Capsa Labs, LLC

St. Louis, Missouri – May 3, 2016 – Classroom Library Company announced today that they have sold the rights to the classroom library management tool, Book Retriever, to Capsa Labs, LLC, a technology company that is has developed a new Book Retriever web-based application that replaces the previous mobile app.

“Capsa Labs has the experienced team required to develop the new Book Retriever and make it the system we always envisioned it could be. We have been impressed with how the new application has turned out,” says Benjamin Conn, president of Classroom Library Company.
The new Book Retriever platform is a cloud-based application that is fully responsive and will run on any device from a desktop computer (Mac or Windows) to tablets and smartphones. Being a cloud-based application there is nothing to install and no need to back anything up.
Book Retriever Solo Subscriptions are available now for individual teachers that included full library management tools including borrowing, tracking overdue books, student activity, checkout history, and label printing tools.

School and District versions will be released soon, which add extensive collaboration and management functions such as reporting, analytics, and Common Core alignment tools.

Also part of the platform is a new Book Retriever Scanning App that allows users to quickly add books to their libraries. The app runs on both iOS and Android platforms.
